The first new expansion that will be available on May 21 will be the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack, which will bring new leaders and civilizations to choose from in the strategy game, as well as a new Apocalypse mode and new City-States, Resources and Natural Wonders. Whether that means the content itself is going to extend beyond March 2021 or not is unclear at this point. The “New Frontier Pass” will run you $39.99, and will be available on all platforms the game is available on, including PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and Linux, but the mobile version will have to wait until later this year. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI has a new season pass four years after the game originally launched in 2016, and will be getting six new content updates between now and March of next year.ĢK says its plan is to release new DLC for the game every two months, starting on May 21.
